The group's principal activity is to manufacture, convert and market recycled paperboard and related products. The group operates in three segments: paperboard, tube, core and composite container and carton and custom packaging. The paperboard segment consists of facilities that manufacture 100% recycled uncoated and clay-coated paperboard. The tube, core and composite container segment produces spiral and convolute-wound tubes, cores and cans for use in cloth cores, paper mill cores, yarn carriers, carpet cores and film, foil and metal cores. The carton segment produces folding cartons and set-up boxes. The group acquired remaining equity of caraustar northwest llc in 2003.
